Case Sentinel Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
Case Sentinel is a case management application operated by Shadownet Digital ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how Case Sentinel collects, uses, stores, and protects information, including information obtained from Intuit QuickBooks Online.
1. QuickBooks Online Data
When you connect a QuickBooks Online company to Case Sentinel, we access the following data on a read-only basis through the Intuit QuickBooks Online API:
- Profit and Loss report data
- Revenue totals
- Expense totals
- Company name
Data is retrieved from Intuit QuickBooks Online only after you explicitly authorize the connection through Intuit's OAuth flow. You may revoke that authorization at any time from within Case Sentinel or from your Intuit account settings.
2. Storage and Security
QuickBooks data and OAuth tokens are stored in a Supabase Postgres database protected by row-level security. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access tokens are stored securely and are used only to retrieve the QuickBooks data described in Section 1.
3. Use of Data
QuickBooks data is used solely to display revenue, expenses, and profit summaries inside Case Sentinel to authorized users of your account. QuickBooks data is not sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party.
4. Disconnecting
You can disconnect the QuickBooks connection at any time from within Case Sentinel. Disconnecting revokes the stored access and refresh tokens and stops all further data access.
5. Retention
Cached QuickBooks report snapshots are retained only as long as the connection is active or as needed to display historical trends inside your account. On disconnect you may request deletion of cached snapshots by contacting us.
6. Contact
For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact us at help@shadownetdigital.com.
